 Well, U Rock is rockin’ Disney for the third year running. As of July 7th and through August 23; kids can download a thirty second song clip from a Disney Music artist, create their own music video and upload it to the video gallery on the U Rock site for a shot at winning some really great prizes! After August 23rd, finalist videos are chosen by www.disney.com and guests get to vote on the 4 Grand Prize winners for each one of the songs. This year’s U Rock songs and grand prizes include:
- Camp Rock 2 “It’s On” – Winner will head to Orlando to see Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers in the Camp Rock 2 tour
- Phineas and Ferb “Backyard Beach” – Winner will come to Los Angeles to be a voice in an upcoming episode of Phineas and Ferb
- Jonas “LA Baby (Where Dreams Are Made Of)” – Winner will travel to LA for a tour of some of the local sites featured in JONAS LA and cap it off by meeting Kevin, Joe and Nick
- Allstar Weekend “Dance Forever” – Winner will head to LA where they will be the star in a weekend of fun including a musical jam session with Allstar Weekend and a $1000 shopping spree from Disney Stores.

 The girls and I were given an opportunity to try a new ‘@Home’ business, from Emily Rose, for moms and daughters. As part of the business starter kit (a $99.00 value); we received our very own personal website for three months, 100 order forms, 20 catalogs, three garments (for your typical 18” doll), and much more.
The girls do not own a Madame Alexander Doll (yet) nor do they have any other type of real ‘doll’ (besides plush) to speak of, but what the do have is an imagination, an ability to compromise and a ton of stuffed animals dying to be dressed…
Patience and Piper (being the smart little cookies that they are) thought it’d be really fun to try out the new clothes…to see how beautiful their babies would look sporting them. Quite honestly- these weren’t even your typical 18” dolls. Eighteen inches, yes, but dolls…no- not really. The clothes were used on their CPKs and Build a bear animals. Need I mention that I find it absolutely amazing how a girl’s imagination sores when gifted with doll clothes. Their babies were beautifully dressed (finally) and my ‘little mommies’ were as proud as a mommy could be.
Now, the future plans for my girls (with the success of this venture) is to purchase their own Madame Alexander doll, buy a few furniture pieces and then buy gobs and gobs of clothes to dress their dolls with. This, at the moment, is what they plan on doing with the money earned.

My girls are all about watching TV. I don’t even have to oversee what’s being put on the tube because; well…aside from being in the same room with them at all times, they usually only jump between five channels.
In order of priority (to them); on TV first is always PBS Kids so that they can see all the usual morning shows they love so much. Then at noon they switch between The Animal Planet & TLC. They have to watch Cake Boss and a Baby Story (they have a serious addiction to these shows). Now, when those shows are over; then…and only then will they flip between Disney and Nickelodeon. Usually, these are the channels that stay on until bedtime. If they’ve already seen the episode, the girls will go play out back or in their room until their next show is due to air.
Now just because they have shows that are watched religiously- this doesn’t mean that they don’t enjoy playing DVDs from time to time. In fact, they hardly ever turn down an opportunity to watch a DVD…because they say that no commercials is a plus in their books. They also tell me that they like how they can watch and re-watch the shows they like most as many times as they want, whenever they want.

Though school will be starting very soon (mid to late August for most); vacations are still happening everywhere.
But it’s not too late to book your stay with any of the participating Marriott hotels.
I received a package that showed the girls and I just how cool the sleepover packs can be are. I was impressed at how great these products were (superior quality) and how- shockingly- my girls didn’t even fight over any of it. They simply shared (without being asked) and everyone was happy.
The box I received in the mail is considered to be a Package B (detials below). When you book, you’ll get a package for each kid (up to two kids, per room, per length of stay).

The cleaners I received from CSN a while back are going to come in mega handy…when I start cleaning today. It’s another “spring cleaning” day for me. An event that happens at least once a month – all year round!
I really do love cleaning. I turn up the music as loud as my ears can handle and start moving. It helps get me in the mood. Oh, and I also open all the windows to let the sun shine in.
So, with this said. I may not be working on my blog today. I’m trying to balance home life and work as much as I can. I’m not all that great at it, but I’m trying.
Okay…I’m off to cleaning, but before I go…I really wanted to say- here’s hopin’ you all have a great Sunday afternoon! But please make sure you come back this week because I have a ton of stuff lined up. I have a few giveaways as well as some really cool products that I think you’ll enjoy learning about.
