Talk about a funny “HA-HA” movie. I recommend keeping the little ones out of the room for this one, but, let me tell you; it was FU-U-U-N-N-N-Y!!!
The Hubby and I decided to pop the movie in last night…I didn’t know he knew (or remembered) how to laugh (he’s always in a funk from work; he’s always so serious); anyways, it’s a movie you’ll have to see if you haven’t already. Shoot, I don’t think I’ve laughed that much in a while. It was a complete “Battle of the Sexes”!
The movie stars John Corbett, Jerry O’Connell, Heather Graham and Lara Flynn Boyle. The movie (without spoiling it for everyone) is about a married couple that has it all; until an unexpected (kind of wanted) baby is on board. Now they’re faced with jealousy and suspicion; he said, she said roller coaster of a ride. They’ve got friends that are supposedly “happily” married- YEAH RIGHT! Anyways, you’ll have to see it!
How about a giveaway? Would you like to win a copy of Baby On Board? I’ve got one copy of the movie up for grabs. But first; here’s a little about the movie (synopsis):
Sometimes BIG surprises come in small packages. In the tradition of Knocked Up and Nine Months, BABY ON BOARD turns a would-be joyous occasion into a hilarious series of mishaps and misunderstandings for an ambitious career woman and her divorce attorney husband in this must-see, side-splitting romantic comedy. Heather Graham (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Boogie Nights) and Jerry O’Connell (Jerry Maguire, Obsessed) star as the stunned parents-to-be, while John Corbett (“Sex and the City,” My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Katie Finneran (“Wonderfalls,” Bewitched) play their “happily” married best friends. Lara Flynn Boyle (“The Practice,” Men in Black II) rounds out the A-list cast in this 2009 theatrical release from director Brian Herzlinger (My Date with Drew). Available on DVD and Blu-ray at Blockbuster stores and at Blockbuster Online May 15th!
Angela (Graham) and Curtis (O’Connell) have it all – a loving relationship, a beautiful house and successful careers. That is, until an unexpected pregnancy sends them on a nine-month roller coaster ride, which causes each to mistakenly believe the other is cheating. Now, they must deal with emotional and hormonal mood swings, as well as all the drama caused by their friends Danny (Corbett) and Sylvie (Katie Finneran), who suddenly find their own marriage on the rocks. Meanwhile, Angela worries that her job is in jeopardy as she strives to please her over-demanding boss, Mary (Flynn Boyle), while hiding her pregnancy… all adding up to one uproarious battle of the sexes.
Bonus features on both the DVD and Blu-ray editions of BABY ON BOARD include commentary by director Brian Herzlinger and producer Emilio Ferrari along with the trailer and photo gallery. The film is presented with Spanish and SDH English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Hailed as “absolutely hilarious… a comedy winner,” BABY ON BOARD is directed by Brian Herzlinger, whose 2004 feature documentary My Date with Drew garnered critical praise for its astute and hilarious presentation of Herzlinger’s attempt to get a date with childhood-crush Drew Barrymore. An independent production from A Plus Entertainment, Big Shoot Productions and Entertainment 7, the film was produced by Russell Scalise and Emilio Ferrari, and was shot on location in Chicago, Illinois. It is rated R by the MPAA for crude and sexual content, nudity and language.
**All you have to do to enter is (follow the easy rules) put that entry in. Unfortunately, because of the nudity, language and crude nature of the movie (yes, it’s funny but not intended for the kiddos; so put them to bed early) this giveaway will be for 18 years and over. This giveaway is also for U.S. residents only (sorry folks…). **
