Review- George Harrison LET IT ROLL Remastered CD

If you’ve noticed by quite a few of my past reviews, I’m a very avid listener to older music. It is more relaxing, has better listening and additionally, super enjoyable. I can’t say that it’s entirely because it takes me “far” back because I’m not too old, but because the sounds and styles of the songs are just so different than they are today. I enjoy the new styles and genre’s that have surfaced over the last decade, but I’m still hooked on and gravitate towards the “old school” music…

George Harrison’s first-ever career-spanning solo hits collection- Let it Roll is a must have! It has been releaced and includes a 28-page booklet & features previously unseen and rare photos is the first to span Harrison’s entire solor recording career. The collection track includes 19 digitally remastered songs and includes the #1 Billboard Pop singles, “My Sweet Lord,” “Isn’t It a Pity,” “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth),” and “Got My Mind Set On You”…oh yeah, and “My Guitar Gently Weeps” wich by the way is a timeless Harrison-penned Beatles song (always, always has been my favorite).

George Harrison is a twice-inducted member of the Rock & Roll Hall of fame (as a solo artist and also as a member of The Beatles), he is an 11 time Grammy Award winner for his recordings with The Beatles, Traveling Wilburys, and as a solo artist and on April 14^th He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles (you can read more about all of his many accomplishments at http://www.georgeharrison.com/).
