It’s no wonder towels are the worst at giving off that dreaded “sour” smell. We use them ALL THE TIME. We use them to dry ourselves after a nice warm shower and we most definitely use hand towels and kitchen towels to dry our hands, wipe up spills and well, shoot–some of us might even use a towel or two to dry the car after a good scrub down. And you know what we all do with them? We throw them in the hamper ‘till we’re good and ready to wash them…period!
