Entering the Funniest MOMfinition contest

Please, oh please comment if you like any of my 5 MOMfinitions. It’s part of a spectacular giveaway I’m entering over at Twittermoms and I could really use the prize. 100.00 for the most comments (on my post before the end of the giveaway) and 200.00 to be judged by experts at Parentconnect.com. I wasn’t one of the first 20 bloggers to participate (lost out on 50.00 cash), but that’s okay because I finally have the courage to post. The point is to have fun; and boy did I have it.

So here are my definitions:

• Mo-Mos = [Moa-Moa(s)] what you call milk to a little one when it’s feeding time. It just kind of sticks and eventually you find yourself asking them what kind of mo-mo they want while at the grocery store.

• Smart Farts = rather than gas passing through the tail end you get a, less smelly, not so tacky, kind of funny term for “burping”.

• Barking Spiders = in our home; we step on “barking spiders”…we don’t “f-a-r-t”-YUCK!!!

• Naps = the only time a Mom gets to clean house, start laundry, hear her thoughts, prepare evening meals and vegetate.

• Fendme night = something that happens twice a week in my home. Fend me night is a night that everyone basically “fends for themselves”. A great way to take a night away from cooking…

So there you have it…my Momfinitions. I hope you like them. They may not be the classiest of momfinitions, but hey, we all have those secret definitions that only the “family” knows. When you have kids, you’ve got to be a kid yourself. Let your guard down every once in a while and have fun!!!
