Patience, this post is for you baby…

From the day Daddy and I knew we were pregnant with you until the day you came into our lives, you have been that little joy we dreamt, prayed and wished for. You are above all, one spunky, fantabulous, overly-zealous heartwarming little girl. You are a world of glories wrapped into one little soul and I couldn’t have asked for a more precious and better- you.

These past eight years have been so wonderful. You have blossomed into a strong young lady and I just know you’re going to grow into something more grand in the years to come. You have a charismatic personality that people attract to and one that no one forgets. I still giggle every time a new school year rolls around; when we can walk down the halls and all teachers, whether they taught you or not, can stop and say “Hi Patience” because they remember you and your outgoing personality (and your name).

When it comes down to it, not one word in this post can ever completely express the joys that you have given me. Watching you from a distance is amazingly entertaining and utterly fulfilling. Hugging you makes me feel warm and complete, laughing with you makes me feel carefree and happy and hearing your voice makes me feel embraced by your presence.

You are such a happy person with so much energy for life. I pray that you always enjoy the many fruits that life, love and happiness offer you because after all; it has only just begun. I love you so much and wish only the best for you now, tomorrow and in all of your future endeavors…may there be many, many, many more!

So today, as we celebrate your Birthday, I want you to know that we all hope your Birthday is what you hope it would be and that today is as spectacular as the beautiful girl you’ve become…CHEERS TO YOU BABY GIRL; WE LOVE YOU!!!
