I am a lefty- a proud, weird-writing lefty! I get comments from people everywhere I go because I literally write upside down. I don’t know why or how I do it, but I do. Now that I’m 35, I really don’t see any reason for “changing”. My youngest, however, is a lefty too, so what should I do?
Last night Piper was doing her homework. At first, when I realized how she was writing, it amazed me…I ran to hubby (he was cooking dinner last night since I was helping the kids)I whispered in his ear to stop what he was doing and watch his daughter for a second. For some reason, for a second or two, I forgot that I too wrote like that. I couldn’t help but “awe” the situation. My husband on the other hand said I needed to work with her on it- to change it before she gets any older. All I could think and say was, “I write like that and I turned out just fine (with a smile)”…his response- “hmmm”. Check her out:

I personally think it’s amazing to watch a “lefty” write, including myself. It just never gets old. After all these years I still seem to laugh when my writing gets noticed. What’s funny is; not all lefties write the same. Some are extreme and some are subtle. I categorize myself as “extreme”.

I’ve been speaking to quite a bit of PR’s lately (that’s Promotional Representatives for those that don’t know the lingo). I’ve had a few that have come back to say that they would be willing to give me some of the “bigger” products, but I don’t have enough of a comment base, hint-hint. I know I have over 300 unique visitors a day; I just need those guys to start commenting. I don’t want to force anyone to make a comment, but, if you like-or dislike what I’ve written, let me know. It only helps in the long run when it comes to the products I review, which inturn helps you as far as giveaways and such.

I’m a lefty too but I write “normal” and people STILL make fun of me! My sister and I are the only known lefties in our family. My brother in law says writing “left handed is not the RIGHT way to do things” wah wah wah, insert cheesy music here.
