It’s finally Friday and, sadly, it is the final day for the MR MEN, Little Miss Sunshine Prize Pack giveaway. Each day has been a blast. Reading all of your comments about the precious little ones in your life has been enlightening. Meeting new friends and gaining more comments on my giveaways have also been so rewarding. I want to thank everyone again for all the participation in this great blogging event.

Today (the final day) is all about MR HAPPY! I honestly cannot pick just one of my children to honor the MR Happy award to because they’ve all earned it time and time again; so, I’m going to tell you a little about each of them (as if you haven’t heard enough of my “kid” stories this week-LOL)…

Piper; a very small, yet outgoing “happy” person who is everything you’d want from the baby of the house. She will brighten a room when she walks in, she can make you smile when you’ve had a bad day and you’ll melt in her palm when she gives you “that-look”.  Little things make her happy & when she’s happy- everyone’s happy.

Piper was born 6 weeks early and was in the NICU for 2 weeks. The day she came home she weighed in at 5 lbs, 0oz. She was red and had snails eyes (her eyes weren’t in sync yet; it was actually pretty funny to watch), but she was a really cute little bug. She is now 6 years old and is a delight to have around, though very stubborn and strong willed- I couldn’t have asked for a better “baby”!!!

Patience; she is the middle child who loves to get all the attention. She will do everything in her power to make someone smile, and, from what I’ve seen from her since she was a baby, it’s more important for her to see someone happy than it is for her to be happy. She is the character of the house and always keeps us entertained. There’s never a moment in our day that doesn’t involve her.

Patience was born 2 weeks early and came out screaming. From the time she was a baby, she has always talked. She has always been center stage and has ALWAYS made me laugh. She’s very vocal and will use that gift to bring out the best in everyone.

CJ; now, he is definitely my 16 year old happy man. Although he’s very reserved around others; when you get him around people he knows, you’ll be in for a treat. He’s funny, care-free and entertaining. He takes center stage with all his friends and can be known as the “class clown” when necessary. He tends to be a little on the dark-side, but trust me, his personality is everything but dark!

CJ was also born 2 weeks early. He was born with unilateral cleft lip and underwent surgery at the tender age of 10months old. Luckily, he has just one little scar from his nose to his lip and no one ever notices. He’s never let that “ailment” get him down. He’s the life of the party, the class room clown; he can make you smile just by watching him do.

I tried to keep this post short- sorry it didn’t work out that way. When it comes to my kids I can talk for hours. They are a delight to have and I feel like the luckiest “mom” alive for being gifted with such amazing children.
