GOOD LUCK!!!!
I was given the opportunity to try Silk Soy Milk’s new Silk Heart Health and I have to say- it is pretty good!!! Now, I know that, for some, changing from regular milk to soy milk might be a tough thing to do. I know that the first time I tried it; it was a little hard to get used to. For one thing, I knew that the flavor would be a little different. Secondly; I thought it might interest you to know that 20 Blogfully readers will receive a coupon good for one FREE half gallon of the new Silk Health Heart just for reading and commenting on this post.
If you’ve ever thought about trying soy milk, here are a few benefits of drinking Soy (specifically- the New Silk Heart Health):
- It is so good for your heart
- It nourishes your body with not only calcium, but with omega-3’s, protective antioxidants and Nature’s perfect Protein
- It’s made of whole harvested soybeans to preserve the great taste
- You can choose from Simply Silk, wellness, organics and lights
- There’s a variety of single servers, silk creamers and Soy Half gallons
- In recent study; it has been proven to reduce your cholesterol by 7%
- Silk Heart Health is the first U.S. soymilk to offer the combined benefits of two proven heat-health ingredients (Soy Protein & Phytosterols)
Just so you know, last night I cooked dinner for my family; as I do most every night. Everyone was happy with the meal and I heard, not one, complaint. What they did not know was that instead of using the usual “milk” (for one of the side dishes), I used the new Silk Heart Health. To my surprise, none of them realized I used anything different. The fettuccini was just as creamy as it had been before; in fact, I think it was a bit creamier.
Now, I’ll have to admit that I was a little worried about whether or not it would taste good, or even remotely similar, with a meal because I have always used regular milk when cooking. Against my own fears of change, I went ahead and tried it anyways and I could not have been happier that I did. There was, to me, just a subtle “soybean” flavor to the dish, but that was because I knew I had added something different. Other than this, it was just as flavorful as before. I liked it and will definitely be using it again.
OH, and before I forget; if you have a moment, you can take the Million Hearts Challenge and be entered to win the Ultimate Weekend Getaway. All you have to do to be entered is reach out to friends with a heart-healthy message and you’ll have a chance at winning some really great prizes.
If you are interested in receiving a coupon good for one FREE half gallon of the new Silk Heart Health; please leave a comment telling me so. The first 20 people (one coupon per person) that leave a comment will receive a coupon in the mail.

How intresting? I would have totally figured it would have tasted different, but if the kids didn’t notice then…hmmmm, I wonder? I bet the only reason you tasted “soybeans” is cause you knew you put it in there.

We use Silk, 8th Continent, and Costco brand soymilk. We’ve found that most recipes are better with soymilk – but still use dairy for certain things like pudding or some baked goods.
We would love a coupon to try the newest addition to the Silk family. Thanks!
