Okay, so I hate to admit it, but I’ve always been a fan of the super natural, not to mention crime thrillers are my favorite too; but when someone goes and mixes my favorite duo and throws a little romance in…holy crap…this will indeed turn into a love-lust relationship between me and the author.

I’ve come to find out, after reading Keri Arthur’s work for the first time that it’s a “sort of” one in a series type of things, but this book can be read without any prior involvement in the series…if you know what I mean. It can be read as a standalone or in connection with the others (that’s just a FYI, in case you’re one of those, “gotta-read-the-first-one-first”).

As you all know by now, I will not give anything away (well, not anymore than the synopsis gives you), but let me just say…Vampires, Werewolves, and shape shifters, oh my…this book will get your blood boiling hot. When the book is down, you’ll be racing to attack your “mate”, so please keep in mind that this isn’t a “read for the kids” type-books.

Keri Arthur is now one of my sought after authors; let me promise you that when I seek out an author’s work, then they have to be good; otherwise, to me it’s nothing more than kindling for my fire.

About the book
