I was so happy to receive (for review) a K’NEX 400 Piece Tub (valued at $20.99) to try with my kids at home, and let me tell you; it was really-really fun! Actually, I didn’t get to sit and play with them like I wanted as I was too busy video taping the girls having their fun, but, as an observer to my kid’s fun, I had a blast!
My girls don’t look at “boy type” toys as a limitation to their fun; they ignored the fact that it didn’t include dolls or unicorns and just jumped right in. After an hour of fun with the K’NEX tub, they were still in the full swing of things; creating and recreating new and improved cars and trucks; robots and rolling buildings.I really did have a lot of fun reviewing the K’NEX with my girls.
I’m seriously considering the purchase of a few more of these K’NEX value tubs to give as gifts this holiday season. They’re just too much fun not to buy more.
PROS: What I really liked about the K’NEX 400 piece tub I received is that there were literally enough pieces for 2-3 kids to play at one time. Now although it didn’t seem like there were that many pieces at first, but when the bags were all torn opened and the pieces lay spread out on the floor- yeah, there were 400 pieces in that tub (LOL). I also liked the fact that it will occupy your kid’s time and help them use their creative minds for objects of creation rather than video games and TV.
CONS: There wasn’t anything, after this review, that I can say I didn’t like. It was pure fun, amusing and time capturing for the girls. In fact, for those moms & dads looking for something that will keep the kids entertained for long periods of time- this is the way to go.

Thanks for the review. I like that these come in their own neat little storage tub as ALL toys with small/many pieces should BY LAW–lol!
