How’s it going everyone? Are we ready for the holiday’s yet? How about the music; do you have your holiday music yet? You have to have music, but, if you don’t; let me tell you a little about some music that will surely get you in the mood for baking, visiting family and snuggling up to a cozy fire.
Silvia Fleming and her new holiday inspired CD Love For Christmas is a beautiful collection of only the best and most beautifully sung songs known to the holidays. Her voice will move you, the instruments will calm you and her style of singing will comfort you; a lot to say about one CD, I know but it is so very true.
Songs on this CD include
- Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas
- Christmas Time is Here
- Love for Christmas
- Santa Baby
- The Other Side of Christmas
- In a Lowly Manger Sleeping
- I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
- More Than a Child
- My Grown Up Christmas List
- The Joy of Christmas
- What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?
I listened to every one of the songs on the CD that Silvia Fleming so generously gifted me with (for review) and all I can say is “awe”, oh, and “ how beautiful”. My favorite, aside from the beautiful traditional songs we all know so well, would have to song number 5: The Other Side of Christmas (click to take a peak at her music). I thought that this was a beautiful song because it reminds us to remember what Christmas is all about. It really is a beautiful song and worth the listen.
If you ask me, this CD is a definite “must-have”. It would be perfect as a stocking stuffer, perfect to give as a gift to a close friend or family member and most importantly, perfect for bringing cheer and warmth into your own home this holiday season.
