The Starting Line
Somebody’s Gonna Miss Us
I’m gonna miss ya’ll!!!! I saw these guys last year @ The White Rabbit in San Antonio. Barb gave me this Cd/Dvd to review knowing the music genres that I listen too and love. As it turns out its one of the many bands I’ve seen live and I love their music. So there I was center of the crowd (cause I wasn’t gonna fight a bunch of kids to get to the front) in my 20 hole steel-toed Docs rocking out to The Starting Line LIVE!!!!! The venue played is an intimate one so the feel of the show is completely different that that of a 1000+ crowd venues. I was introduced to them in ’03 and have all their music.
The DVD has a documentary and all the songs performed live. The interviews from the band members (and some fans) were heart felt, true, and no doubt at times, painful recounts of the last 8 year journey they have been through. TSL has with out a doubt made it further than most bands I’ve listened to and the “garage bands” I know. It’s an amazingly bittersweet story that they tell to their fans (I, being one of them). I would hope that someday they will be brought back together to start this dream over, fresh. It’s obvious to me that the potential they hold among each other can carry them further than they’ve already gone.
*From the back*
An amazing live performance of career-spanning material from The Starting Line’s final hometown show in Philadelphia! Featuring a full-length concert and an exclusive documentary following the band through the tour to just after their final show – filled with open and honest interviews with band members, friends and families sharing thoughts on TSL’s turbulent career.

To TSL:
Don’t lose your hunger and drive to create great music. You all still have it in you. I expect to see a reunion tour (at the very least) if not some new music from you down the road. Don’t forget your fans and we will never forget you. Thanks for the heart and soul you put into the music you’ve shared with us. C. Rider
So if you’re a fan or even if you like pop-punk, TSL has amazing sound to them. It’s a must have for anyones music library.
