VeggieTales
Saint Nicholas
A Story of Joyful Giving
I am just such a big fan of the VeggieTale Movies. I often wonder how anyone could not be. They have such great morals and Christian values. They are great in teaching our little ones how to be good and wholesome people. Anyways, back to the point because I could go on forever.
Barb gave this to me knowing how much we adore their movies. I haven’t seen a Christmas based VeggieTales Movie in like what, 6 years??? Yeah I guess it’s been that long since The Star of Christmas came out. Well as usual we packed up on the sofas last night and popped it in. We didn’t move until the credits started rolling. The music is great and the little pup in the movie is absolutely side-splitting. If I could, I would tell you all about what happened through-out the movie, but I’m told that I can’t spoil it for everyone else. So I’ll bite my tongue (in this case my fingers) and refrain from telling you anymore than the synopsis will give you, because I am so totally the type to spill the beans on movies.
From the back:
Laura Carrot’s Christmas stocking might be empty this year because her dad is in danger of losing his job. While Larry thinks a letter to the North Pole should fix the problem, Bob knows what will really help… and tells the story of a little boy named Nicholas who made a discovery in Bethlehem that changed Christmas forever. But what did Nick learn and how can it possibly help Laura and her family? Find out as the Veggies discover the true joy of giving to others – at Christmas time and throughout the year!
Bonus Features:
- Give This Christmas Away Music Video
- Behind the Scenes
- Art Gallery
- Audio Commentary
- Sing Along with Larry
- Discussion Guide
- Family Activity
- 5.1 Surround Sound
Includes the new silly song: Donuts for Benny
