I Heart Jonas
In the past three days (4 counting this morning) I’ve watched my girls enjoy their new I Heart Jonas DVD repeatedly. I don’t think the DVD player was ever worked so hard in its life.
So you’re kids haven’t seen it yet- don’t fret. It will air on Disney Channel next Sunday at 8/7CST (check your local listing to get the exact time in your area). If you happen to miss this airing- don’t fret. Its due to release on DVD next Tuesday (1/26/2010) so you can buy it anytime after that.
I received this video on Friday, for review, and I can guarantee that, if purchased for your little Jonas Brothers fan, it will be the most treasured DVD in their collection. Perfect for a Valentines Day gift of sorts.
The cool thing about this DVD, other than the fact that it has some really great episodes and special features, is that it comes with 3 special I Heart Jonas magnets and that the DVD looks just like a huge Valentines Day card. I’m telling you- your JOBRO fan will love you for it!

The Boys are Back
If you still haven’t figured out what to get Mom for Valentines Day; consider this heart felt, Oscar-Worthy film The Boys Are Back : starring Clive Owen.
This movie is inspired by a true story about a man who finds himself suddenly responsible for raising his two sons alone. You can almost feel yourself stepping into his shoes, during the movie, as you try to pull every bit of your own strength to help him get through his trying times.
I’m not one to “spill the beans” on any movie, but I can say this- I was literally glued to the TV (had to pause it once to grab my tissue) because every moment in the film had me either laughing, crying or just simply mesmerized by the emotions the film had inflicted upon me. The good thing is; I was inspired, uplifted and joyful when the movie was done. It had me wanting to take full advantage of the life I have (with my kids) while I’m here. It qualifies as a real tear jerker in my books.
If your wife, mom or daughter loves a movie that will take them on a whirlwind of emotional moments- this is that movie.

The Boys Are Back sounds great–I’ll have to check that one out. The Jonas Brothers DVD…um, let’s just say I’m actually glad my daughter is only 3 and doesn’t know who they are
Sorry, they are just not for me!
