Have you heard what General Mills has done?

If you’re not in the know about how General Mills is changing- you’ve got to read…

General Mills has recently announce a commitment to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12. They are dropping sugar to single digit grams of sugar per serving- and the best part is; kids don’t even know it’s going on. Kids continue to crave the “sweet” taste of their favorite cereal and you get the enjoyment of watching your kids eat better…it’s a secret parents are quietly sharing with each other.

General Mills logoGeneral Mills has been providing great products for some time now, but to hear that they are now working towards helping our children eat better by providing them with less of the sugars and more of the good stuff- it just makes me happy. General Mills is helping parents give their children more of what they need, when they need it most!

As a parent of three, two of which have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes and one with Chronic UTI’s and other such ailments; it is important for me to feed them only the best. Yes, sometimes I slip and let them have “sweets” and an occasional soda every now and then, but what parent doesn’t? For the most part, I think we all do our best to feed our kids right 99% of the time.

Right now General Mills has an offer they’ve asked me to share with you; if you click here, you can print out a coupon for $1.00 off the purchase of your next favorite General Mills Cereal.

Disclosure: Thanks to General Mills & MyBlogSpark (thank you so much!); I was sent 4 coupons to try out a few of our favorite General Mills Cereal (free)- guess what we chose? Honey Nut Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios and more Honey Nut Cheerios! I love this stuff! For more information about kids and cereals, please visit Cereal Health and Wellness.
