If you’ve ever found yourself wanting to watch a series like Gary Unmarried but since you missed the first season, you’re hesitant on starting now; Or how about Army Wives. You know you wanted to watch it but never saw the first two seasons so you don’t think you can get “into it” now…

Both Army Wives (the complete third season) and Gary UNMARRIED (the complete first season) are out on DVD today. There’s no reason to miss out any longer.

I’m one of those people that, if I miss the first couple of episodes in a new series, I can’t get myself to get hooked because, after all, I missed knowing where it all began. If I was a big follower of the series going into the second season and maybe miss a few episodes, I will no longer follow the series because I missed parts of the story. Are you one of those?

If you’re anything like me, but are willing to start a new series into it’s first, second or third season- this post might be of interest to you.

I was given the opportunity to review a copy for each of the above series (Gary Unmarried and Army Wives) and now, I’m going to share them with you. Remember- if you like them, a big fan of the series or would like to get started; I’ll be sharing the synopsis on each of them for your convenience.

    I have always said that military families suffer a lot for our freedoms. My father wasn’t a career military type of guy … but he did serve for four years. I remember the long stints of time when he was gone from us because of his military commitment. I think maybe it was harder on my mother than it was I me or my father. I have never seen Army Wifes but when you said that you’ll laugh, cry, sit in suspense … I can relate! I think I have lived part of that and seen part of that when I was growing up. Your review of this new DVD release perked my interest in this drama series. I found out that Netflix has the previous seasons available so I am going to take the time to view these very soon. Thanks so much for your review of this series.

    One final comment on Army Wives … I found out from a close friend that he has seen a few episodes of this series and thinks that they are very well done. Thanks again for your review.

    I haven’t seen Army Wives, but Gary Unmarried is pretty funny. I have found that I love rewatching my favorite show episodes, so I am so glad to do that with dvd. I have already watched my GLEE dvd 5 times from start to finish.

    @Steve Capell:
    They really are. I like the emotional roller-coaster these women (and men) get taken on. Now, not that I want that to happen all the time, but for this particular show, it really is a great series. I hope you do get to watch it some time. I didn’t think I’d like it all that much, but I was wrong. They’re pretty addicting.

    Blogfully yours,
    Barb ;)
