Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey Movie Review

Boy oh boy oh boy…this is one cute, funny, heartwarming and happily ever after type movie. It’ll take you through the ringer of emotions a few times, let-me-tell-you! My girls will even warn you to be prepared to be sad in the middle…(just so you know).

Honestly, it is a really cute movie and we’ve already watched it a half a dozen times (since Wednesday). C Rider’s kids came over on Thursday, after school and watched; they were glued to the TV. It was as if the TV was the only thing in the room. Not a peep rang out from any of them. All four sat quietly; watching every second of the movie…it was awesome!!!

Now, not that C Rider’s kids are anything less than perfect in my mind, it was just really cute to see them “quiet”…ha-ha. Yes, C will stand behind me when I say that our kids are loud. They are happy and their not afraid to express themselves.

So, Curious George 2: Follow that Monkey is due to release on March 2, 2010. Aren’t you excited?

Here’s the scoop on the Movie (without giving too many details):

Release Date: March 2, 2010curious george 2

  • The world’s most beloved and inquisitive monkey is back in Curious George 2: Follow that Monkey, the fun-filled sequel to the hit animated movie. This unlikely trio faces all types of comic calamities and colorful characters and in the end learn that with family, friends and determination you can achieve anything. **Featuring the voices of Tim Curry, Matt Lauer, Jamie Kennedy and Jerry Lewis**

For me and the girls (and C Rider’s kids); this was one amazingly cute movie. Definitely one to purchase in a few days. I mean, he’s everyone’s favorite monkey, isn’t he?

  3. This brought back some thoughts of my younger days. I remember Captain Kangeroo reading Curious George on TV when I was just knee high to my father.

  4. @Steve Capell:

I remember Captain Kangeroo too…how funny. I wish they’d come out with a series of DVD’s for him. I’d definitely buy them for the girls.
