Synopsis:

Welcome to the grand opening of Minnie’s sparkling-new store, packed with the coolest bows and bow ties you’ve ever seen! Watch as Daisy’s amazing mood bow magically changes colors, say “Cheese” and smile for Donald’s camera bow tie, and help catch a bunch of runaway butterfly bows. It looks like there’s something here for everyone…but Pete has a problem;: He wants to get a present for his Aunt Mabel, and he’s never shopped for ladies’ bows before. He’ll need a lot of help from Minnie, Toodles and YOU to find the perfect gift. Then, join your Clubhouse pals for a daytime sleepover, a picnic in Mickey Park and more exciting adventures. If fun and fashion are what you seek, you’ll love Minnie’s BOW-TIQUE!

I’m sure you can tell, already, how much fun you and your little one’s will have just by reading that synopsis. The only problem with this; it doesn’t even touch on the cuteness of the songs…the songs are really-really cute! My girls ended up replaying it over and over and over again. I didn’t mind though because I too loved them. Have you ever watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney; you know the “Hot-dog, Hot-dog, Hot-diggity-dog” song. I LOVE THAT SONG!!! Even at my age, I can’t help but smile when that song starts. Well, The BOW-TIQUE song will spark the same smiles and reaction; at least it did for us.

Just for fun…

If I were to choose just one character, as my favorite, from the whole gang- It would have to be Minnie. Not because I’m talking about the DVD, but because I’ve always felt a fondness for her. She has that nurturing personality. She makes everyone happy. She always finds a way to help. I think; if Minnie was a true person, she’d probably be one of those people that unleashed so much kindness and energy that you couldn’t help but gravitate towards her. She’d have to be this pretty remarkable person.

Okay, so if you were asked to choose just one character as your favorite; which would it be?

Not sure what happened on my first post … it seemed to go somewhere other than to your Blog. I will give another try … favorite character is Donald Duck without a doubt.

My favorite is Mickey–he’s timeless. And my daughter loves Goofy–I think he reminds her of her daddy!

My favorite has to be Daisy Duck. I just love her style, but I love Minnie too.

Isn’t it funny how we all have a character that we favor most, even though all of them are so darn cute!

Have you guys ever seen Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney (in the morn)? I love it. The tunes get stuck in my head everytime I watch- but it’s the type of stuck I don’t really care that I have. Maybe it’s because it puts me in a gitty-type mood.

Thanks for the comments guys- you all are the best!!!

    Blogfully yours,
    Barb ;)

My grandson and I watch Disney channel in the morning when he is not wanting to play xbox! Ha! As for goofy … you peeked my interests in who, what, and why … so I went to Wikipedia and found out:

He is an anthropomorphic dog and is one of Mickey Mouse’s best friends. His original concept name was “Dippy Dawg” in cartoon shorts created during the 1930s; then his name was given as “George Geef” or “G.G. Geef” in cartoon shorts during the 1950s, implying that “Goofy” was a nickname. Contemporary sources, including the Goof Troop television show and A Goofy Movie, now give the character’s full name to be Goofy Goof. The Goof Troop pilot also refers to ‘G. G. Goof’ on a diploma, likely a reference to the 1950s name. On the other hand, the comics sometimes refer to him as Goofus D. Dawg. Along with being not intelligent, Goofy’s main flaw is, predictably, clumsiness. His birthday is May 25, 1932

I think there way to many goofs! Ha! With a birthday of 1932 that would make the old fellow 78 this coming May. I truly wonder if you can teach old dogs new tricks!

    Steve,

Thank you so much for going out of your way to find out-you’re too sweet!

That is so neat. Of all the names this “dawg” has had- Goofy Goof is definitely the best. None of the other names did him justice.

Ha! Yea, I wonder that too. I know you can’t teach me too many new tricks- I’m pretty much stuck in my ways, but I guess we all are (to a point).

That was pretty interesting (what you found). Thank you!
