I stated earlier ( a few weeks ago) that I was accepted as a new member to a game review community. So far it’s been fun. Just shortly after signing up, I received my first welcome letter along with a code to review my very first game (actually, filled a survey and then I was sent the code). This was pretty sweet because I was too excited to do my first “game review” that I don’t think I could have waited on the mail (LOL). It was quick and painless…my son thought it was pretty cool, since it was to be played on his iPod touch.

So we got the code, had a little trouble finding the application (at first), but once found; it was as easy as one could imagine. It took only few minutes to download and then we were off to finding AEFO ALFIE.

My son’s first reaction/comment…”look- it’s like where’s Waldo, only better”. I took a look and yes, sure enough- it had the same concept. Search for ALFIE before he’s off again. It was pretty cute. I’d even go as far as saying; if you’ve ever been a fan of “Where’s Waldo”, you’re really going to like this game. It’s cute, get’s your mind working and is hours of fun. I definitely recommend AEFO ALFIE to any of you that find enjoyment out of iPhone (iPod) adventure apps.

My son and I have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences when playing this game. We enjoy amusing games and this definitely kept us amused.

PROS:

• Game had a lot of nice features
• Was easy enough to play
• Cost was more than reasonable
• Can be played by both grown-ups and kids alike

CONS:

• Though there were no real “cons” to this game. The only problem I had was finding it on iTunes. But, considering I received the game the day it was released for review, it could have had a lot to do with that.

All and all, it was a real fun game- my son and I loved it. I think; if you’re planning a trip and you have young ones to entertain, this would be the game to take. If you have a busy day lined up and your kids will be tagging along, this is a game to consider.
