The Truth According To ME
| February 3, 2010 | Posted by C. Rider under Randomness |
All right, all right. I’ve been informed that I need to share a little about myself since I am new to Blogfully. You guys already know the most fabulous Barb
… well here I am.
I go by the alias C Rider. Is it my real name? Does it matter? I’ve known Barb for close to 12 years; give or take a couple. So here is a little insight on me, myself and I …. I’m rough-edged, I call people on their B.S., I don’t deal with or put up with any drama of any kind, except what my immediate family brings me. I don’t like idiot drivers (they seem to come out in bad weather), I love to read, I love to write, I love my dogs, I love my friends, and most importantly I LOVE my family and I will defend and protect them to the darkest most brutal extent
!
I have 6 tattoos and 10 piercings. I’m a realist with a pessimistic twist and I have no problem telling anyone no matter who they “think” they are how it is or should be.
I will do my best to give you glorious people my personal, truthful in my eyes opinion on what ever it is that Barb gives me to review for her. I might also throw in an occasional rant here and there cause I’m pretty good at griping about random ignorants I encounter through out my life. What about you guys? What is your story in a nutshell? Do you have any questions for me, the newbie? HAHA that rhymed and I didn’t mean for it to.

Hi Rider,
Nice to meet you in BLOG ville! One question from the nutshell … what kind of writings do you do? I like to write also, but 99% of my writings are in the form of poetry … and I might add that some rhyme and some don’t. The reason I am interested is that I have found many people that give opinions on Blogs base those opinions on their background and experiences. I would like to know where your background in writing has taken you. I look forward to reading your opinions.
Steve
Well, I have to say that I have come a very long long way from where I began writing to where I am now. When I began I was in a very dark place and most of my writings were full of anger, painful experience and survival of the fittest. They have evolved into less of a resentful state. So sometimes yes it can come through in the way I relate to a book that I read, I do have to agree with you there. As for where it’s taking me, I’m still on that journey. So we shall see
I want to say that I am sorry about your pain that you went through in the beginning of your writing career. I am sure most of us have things in the past that we would like to change or forget about, but life doesn’t give us that option. We can only move past those experiences and create better ones. As we both journey through this thing called life I wish you the best in your writing and I look forward to reading some of your reviews in the future.
Steve
Thanks for the best wishes. I wish the same for you as well.
Well, we’re mostly alike except for the whole tattoo piercing thing. I only have one tattoo and um, my ears are pierced…but I hardly ever wear earrings (I’m such a rebel
)
I like to think of myself as a realist with an open mind, usually. I don’t have a blog of my own–I just enjoy reading anything I can get my eyes on, and one day I started reading blogs such as this one and I’ve been HOOKED ever since. I read SEVERAL but comment regularly on very few so you guys must be doing something right at Blogfully
It’s nice to officially meet you, although I have kind of “known” you for a bit because of your book reviews.
If you haven’t checked out the Demonata series by Darren Shan–you should! A bit gruesome at times but highly entertaining, in my opinion.
Will do! I’ll be out and about this weekend so I’ll make sure to stop by book store.
