Since blogging, I’ve reviewed items from SKINN Cosmetics quite a few times in the past. Not all of the items have been sent to me for review either. I’ve actually, after trying my very first product from SKINN, purchased my own products a time or two and I have always has such great experiences with them.
I know that a lot of women, myself included, are particular about the make up they use. For instance, I don’t use foundation. Powder, yes, but foundation- I think it feels far to heavy for me. I actually use 3 different shades of concealer, along with a small dab of moisturizer so that it applies easier; at the same time, moisturizing my face. Eyeliner, mascara and lip balms are the same thing. I don’t like using a lot because then, by the end of the day my face feels so heavy. I like the “less is more” look and find it to be more tolerable later on in the evening.
SKINN’s new Luxe Waterproof eyeliner is pretty much that. It’s light, soft, easy to apply, lasts all day and comes off when you’re ready to remove it. Now, I’m sure some of you might be saying the same thing about your favorite eyeliner, but does your eyeliner contain peptides, Shea butter and Jojoba (to firm the appearance of eyelids and smooth dry lids)? Yeah, didn’t think so…
SKINN Cosmetics sent me a shade of indigo and though I have never steered away from black, I was pretty pleased. To me it looked almost smoky (just the way I like it). I always soften my eyeliner with a eyeliner wedge, so it looked like I was wearing eye shadow…take a look:

Don’t get scared now, it’s just my eyes (LOL). I was debating whether to add this picture or not, but you guys like seeing what I’m talking about (right?), so I figured, “what the heck”. I know you guys haven’t seen too many pictures of me to know one way or another, but, can you see how it makes my eyes look bigger? More specifically, higher on the lids.
I’d like to think it’s because of the eyeliner. Usually when I wear any sort of eye makeup in general, it seems harsh; as if I have too much on, but this eyeliner left a soft, subtle yet noticeable difference in my eyes. It even made my hazel eyes look a little grey (which I thought was pretty neat).
SKINN Cosmetics (by Dimitri James) has left an incredible impression on me. I guess you can say I’m a big Dimitri James fan. It’s hard to explain all the “why’s” (there’s a lot of them), but I can say that once you try just one of the many products offered by SKINN, you’ll see why. I can almost bet that you’ll start to wonder why you never tried them before.
