New DVDs from Nickelodeon In stores this Month
| March 14, 2010 | Posted by barb under Reviews |
So far today the girls and I (and my son) have watched iCarly’s iFight Shelby Marx (too many times to count- in its entirety). We have also watched The Backyardigans Escape from the Tower and Nickelodeon’s Go Green.
Each of these videos were received on Friday, and if you haven’t already noticed, they’ve been watched a few dozen times- each. I can’t help it…I’m a big fan of Nick Jr and Nickelodeon too, so I really don’t mind that either one of these channels is on almost all day or that the videos are being played back to back to back. It just seems to keep them entertained when I’m busy or when there’s nothing else to do in the house.
The collections within each of the DVD’s above are not “new” so to speak. Most all of them have been aired on Nick or Nick Jr at one time or another, but there’s something sweet about having your favorite episodes right there at your fingertips ready to be watched anytime you want. As for the date of release; each of them will be on shelves on March 30th, 2010. Of course you can pre-order any one of them on Amazon, Wal-Mart or another store that offers pre-order options. Places like Wal-Mart and Target often offer a discounted price if you do decide to order early. It’s something to think about.
Here’s some detail for each of the DVD so that you can prepare yourself for purchase

I think my daughter would enjoy Go Green…We’ve never watched iCarly, but my daughter got this weird talking meatball in an iCarly Happy Meal from McDonald’s the other day…strange!

I am a big fan of Yo Gabba Gabba. My son has gone crazy for it since six months old! I am amazed by how many celebrities have been on the show. DJ Lance rocks!
