VB Cosmetics Product Review

I think it’s safe to assume that most of the women out there have purchased nail color a few times in the past six months. I can almost guarantee that at least one or two of you have even purchased cuticle remover (even if it’s out of curiosity). Maybe (?).

I am pretty excited about sharing today’s product review because, if you’ve gone through the same situation before, you’ll understand.

I haven’t purchased cuticle stuff  in a long time (creams, oils, removers, etc.)because, well, to put it bluntly- it almost seemed pointless. I mean, I wanted to use them so that my fingers and nails would look more appealing to others, but the more I purchased them, the more I was let down on the performance of the products. 

In the past, when I did purchase cuticle removers, creams and such; it was always a waste of money. It never failed. I’d purchase a “new and improved” brand. I’d run home and begin rubbing it on my finger nails and beds just to see if I finally bought one that’d work. What’s funny is; I wasn’t going out and purposely spending money to prove any product wrong; why would I be so foolish? I really did intend on using something other than the sharp cuticle removers that end up cutting me. I always end up making myself bleed when I use those dang clippers. The point is, I became frustrated, repeatedly, with the experiences (or lack of), so I finally ended up throwing that stuff away and never really bothered with it again. 

There really is a great part to the story- a “happy ending” so to speak.

It seriously (promise, cross my heart and hope to, well, I wont go that far- don’t like the “D” word) dries in 5-10 minutes flat.

Okay, okay- for all you skeptics out there- I too was like, yeah right, 5 minutes- HA! Bologna! That’s what I thought. But it’s true. I even took the ultimate test to see just how true this was.

When’s the worst time to do your nails? Before bed, right? I’d like to think so because, for me, I sleep with my hands underneath my pillow or under the sheets and I don’t like disturbing that comfort I seek at bedtime. No wet nail or husband can keep me from sleeping comfortably when it’s my time for sleep Anyways. So, to test this “dazzle dry” stuff out. I decided a few minutes before bed that I was going to do just that. Paint my nails, and I’m not talking one coat…no, I’m talking 3 coats of color- including the base and top coat. Why not, I thought. So there I was, 11:30 pm, running through the steps of painting my nails. Easy enough.

The box has a little pamphlet that gives you a step by step instructional guideline for applying, so I went along with it. It took me about 5 minutes to apply the prep, base coat, two coats of color and then the top coat. I knew it was already working by the second coat of color because the color looked a little hazy. I was amazed though. Once I applied the top coat; the haziness was gone and all that was left was a beautiful shine. It looked like I went to the salon to have it done- it was that pretty and that shiny. Anyways, I waited 5 minutes and then touched my nail (softly). It didn’t smear, so, I did the next “no-no” you do when your nails are drying- I pressed my thumb down on one of the nails and drug it. Nothing…it was dry. It was literally 5 minutes from the time I applied the top coat to my last finger.

Needless to say, I am utterly and happily impressed. I’m sold actually. I don’t think I could ever bring myself to buying another nail care product, in stores, at a whim again. I’d just assume shop at the online store and wait for them to arrive. They’ve got plenty of colors to choose from and I know I’ll be much happier with the results. Oh, I almost forgot- the next day I painted my girl’s nails, and we all know how hard it is for a child to sit still long enough for their nails to dry. I’ve had to do “do-overs” on their nails countless of times because they moved or itched or rubbed their wet nails against something. Well, I painted their nails the following day, told them at what number on the clock they could move again and bam- on cue, their nails were done and stayed beautiful for days. I didn’t have to fix one nail. I’m telling you- this product, for me, is a true “momma” blessing.

Before you go out and purchase another beauty product (via nail color, cuticle creams, cosmetics, etc.) might I recommend Abrione, VB Cosmetics and Dazzle Dry products. These products really have made a world of difference to me when it comes to time and money. The products really are as great as I’m writing them out to be and I really think that you’d agree.
