I somehow feel that this would be a GREAT movie as well. Many young adults seem to not take the time to read or their time is being totally filled up with other activities … so if this would be made into a movie I feel the emotional impact would reach a number of young adults. I haven’t read this book; however I hope too. Thanks so much for your post of this interview. I am now wanting to read this book more than ever.
Great interview, Barb. I think your husband has done well with his “project,” don’t you?
Hope your foot is feeling better, by the way.
i finished this book yesterday and i am actually 13 and it really hit me how good i have it compared to other kiids out there and how sad life is for teens like willow and i try to stress this topic every time my younger sibling complains about petty stuff. and i can only hope that for those teens out there that they have a “new begining” like willow did.
