Bling Strands are still a HIT in my home

A little late on my Easter post, but it’s been so much fun! The eggs are all cracked, candy’s all eaten and our dresses are all stained from chocolate smears (they don’t like using napkins- go figure!).

Seriously though, I really wanted to share the cool Bling Strand colors my girls had in their hair for the Easter celebrations. We actually added them to their hair last Wednesday because we had church to attend on Thursday. I wanted them to look adorable and really stand out at each of the services we attended (Good Friday and Saturday). I also wanted them to look cute on Easter. It worked- they were beautiful. Everyone commented on how cute they were and, thanks to the “Bling”, they were as happy and glamorous as ever!!! Check it out:

These pictures were taken 5 days before Easter:

If you noticed (from the first set of pictures); there aren’t many bling strands left in her hair, but we’re actually, right now, working on day seven and she does tend to sleep like a fish out of water- flip, flop, flap- splat (that’s her hitting the floor after far too many flips)! Either way, the bling strands seem to stay nicely tied in her hair without too many of them falling out.

I love Bling Strands and if you’ve made a visit to Blogfully before; you’ll notice that I’ve featured them a few times. My girls get a kick out of them. They’re easy to do (after you’ve learned how) and there are so many colors to choose from (30 vibrant colors to be exact). I think the girls love that the most. They were even thrilled that for Easter this year; they were able to wear gold, left over from the last time, along with a beautiful green- perfect for the Easter bunny to spot them from anywhere!!!

Bling Strand are available by visiting the official website @ www.blingstrands.com

They come in two sizes:

  • 36 inches (normally valued at $19) on sale for $14.95 – This value pack has 50 strands
  • 18 inches  (normally valued at $11) on sale for $8.95 – includes 25 strands of your favorite color
  • Discontinued color items sell as low as $4.95 (from $19.00)

PROS- definitely head turners. Every time my girls have the strands in their hair, we get stopped. Whether it’s from strangers asking what they are to friends and family asking where to buy them. The girls are always getting complimented on the coolness of their hair and yes, they eat that attention all up, happily!!!

CONS- it does take a little while to learn how to do it. I don’t think it requires “skill” to put the strands in your hair, but it definitely takes some practice.

Overall- I love them. Every color, every strand and every compliment we receive when the girls are wearing them. I love that my girls get so excited each time we get a new color in the mail for them to try. They are always more than eager to be my models for this! Oh yes, and most importantly- I love that the price is unbeatable.

Disclosure: I was gifted with a packet of Bling Strands to facilitate my review, free, via It’s a Glam Thing. Everything written within this post is true to my experiences and therefore, I claim no responsibility for others that may gather a different opinion. Thank you.
