Oh how I wish they invented this (or at least I had the means to get this) back when I was pregnant with my three kiddos. I could have saved myself from being laughed at from my friends. You know…for putting those ancient head phones, with a short cord, over my belly just so my baby can hear music. Those were some desperate times.
I remember hearing about how important playing music for your baby was so I did what any other mother did (I think); I set myself up on a pillow, plugged the head phones into the stereo player and laid back with a book while my baby listened. It was pretty sad though because when the baby was listening, I couldn’t.
Belly Buds bring back so many memories of a time when desperate times called for desperate measures. Although I never got to listen to the music my baby was listening too, I knew it was soothing, so I dealt with my time in bare silence. Now though- now, you and your baby can listen to music at the same exact time, to the same exact tunes, from the same exact MP3 player, thanks to Belly Buds. I’m telling you…I am totally jealous!!!!! I really, really wish I had these back when I needed them.

After reading up on the product; I am convinced that my jealousy has grown a million times stronger. Jealous because I am never going to have another baby. Jealous because I think they are so cute, not only for baby, but for momma…can you imagine, a cute “Prego” belly sporting belly buds like this. I mean, I’m no weirdo or anything, but seeing a pretty pregnant belly makes me wish I was pregnant once more. Seeing a pretty “pregnant” belly makes me smile.
I am thoroughly impressed with everything about bellybuds. From the features this product has to the involvement this product invokes. It’s simply genius…that’s all I can say- GENIOUS!!!!
To Curtis Williams (creator and co-founder of bellybuds),
I am so delighted that you created such an amazing product for moms-to-be. I just wish you would have created these about 17 years ago when I was pregnant with my first, or 9 years ago when I was pregnant with my second…or even 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my baby.
I love that your wife, Jama, inspired you to make something so conveniently helpful, so desperately needed and so perfectly perfect and though I may never be able to use them myself since I will not be baring another child in the future. I love that you, your idea and your wife made the bellybuds possible for other moms-to-be. Thanks for helping bring along a product that is so worthy of being called “bellybuds”! You’re so awesome!!!!

Belly Buds sounds like a wonderful product. I agree with you Barb, “I am so jealous”. I wish they would have had a product like this when I had my babies. My daughter is expecting her third baby, and my daughter-in-law is expecting her second baby. I’m sure they would both love this. Thanks for the review.
