Father’s Day Garage Makeover from Gorilla Rack

Gorilla Rack is offering the opportunity to win an amazing garage makeover valued at $800.00. Now, I don’t know about you, but my husband could sure use a serious garage makeover. He has one very messy garage.

In saying that, I must explain. My husband is an outdoorsman. He is also a Taxidermist, a wood worker and a framer. He’s a hobbyist. He doesn’t really have a single profession. He just dabbles in things that he likes and uses his garage to make so many things. He’s a “jack of all trades”. What he does do, he does well. He is a very competitive man (with himself) and will stop at nothing to make something beautiful.

The only problem I see; he has some serious organizational problems. I don’t know how he has room to do what he does. I can’t even imagine the stress he must go through trying to find things he needs. It stresses me out just peaking through the door. I won’t even walk through that garage completely. There’s just too much stuff.

So anyways…yes, my husband may have one seriously unorganized garage, but he can make some beautiful pieces.

I think that my husband deserves a garage makeover. He works so hard, in the limited space he has, to create so many beautiful pieces. I also think he’d do so much better given the space to do the work. As is; because the limited space in the garage, he is forever bringing unfinished pieces into the house. I am forever dealing with half finished pedestals in the living room and a sewing machine beneath our bar. He also uses our storage space underneath the stairwell, for even more stacking and cramming, because there’s not enough room in his garage. Take a look:
