A few weeks ago I wrote a CSN Product Review teaser post. I was excited then and, not surprisingly, I’m still excited now. I had so much fun going through the stores, deciding what to try and ultimately…going through the process of purchasing my product(s) for review. It’s been a lot of fun for me and I’ll tell you why.

This may not be the usual CSN product review purchase but I thought it’d be super fun and a little different to go with what I chose. Just call me “uniquely adventurous” with my shopping ventures. You see, I think that most people would probably use their $40.00 credit to buy an area rug or a pretty light fixture to add to the lighting in a room; maybe even toys for the kids or even clothing for mom. Well, not me. I’m the kind of gal who enjoys spending most of her days in the cleaning section of a store. I like looking for cleaners that will do what no other cleaner can do. Most of all; I like buying cleaners because I am a cleaner buying freak.

As I was looking through the site; I was also trying to mentally go through my house, thinking of something/anything new to bring into the house. I thought maybe shower curtains, towels, kitchen utensils, pots and even a few bedding sets but I kept coming back to my original thought- cleaners. So, after a few hours of battling with myself I decided to go with just that- cleaners…and plenty of them.

So here’s the run down of how the shopping, ordering and shipping process went:

On June 29, 2010 I received a $40 electronic Gift Credit to CSN (from CSN). I spent most of the day gazing through the stores (there’s over 200 stores by the way). Anyways; I’d occasionally put a product in my cart and then later remove it only to put it back in my cart again. This went on for hours. I actually started going a little crazy trying to figure out what I wanted. Maybe cleaning supplies weren’t a great idea. So I decided to venture into other areas and came across light fixtures, ceiling fans and even area rugs. Though they were all nicely priced, I already told myself that I needed to keep my purchase under $40…no matter what. This wasn’t because forty is all I received but because I thought a good review would be best written if I can prove to you just how much you can buy with that amount.

Okay, so back and forth I went; removing and adding products to my cart until I was finally content with what I chose. Would you like to see? Great!

In just three short days I received my first package; on a Friday. The following Tuesday and Wednesday I received the other two boxes. Now mind you, it was all one order but because a few of the cleaners came from different warehouses, they had to come in different shipments. Unfortunately I was not here to receive them so my husband put the boxes off to the side…and there they sat until I arrived home this past week.

I’d like to show you a picture of the products, once received:

 Overall thoughts: I was very, very impressed with how the order was packed, how quickly I received the items and how great the products have worked for me. The mop and mop handle were of great quality. The bottles were sealed three times over (under the lid, on the lid by means of stickers and enclosed tightly in a sturdy bag that prevents leakage); not to mention they each had an amazing scent. The dish soap is a concentrate so I know it’s going to last for a long time (smells good too). The toilet bowl cleaners are amazing. Even those very tough ring stains were gone in minutes.

I can go on for hours about how much I liked every product purchased. But I wont, so lets move on.

Now, if you’re wondering why I chose cleaners, rather than rugs, lighting or any other product on site…I’ll tell you. I did this because of all products; cleaners are the hardest to be happy with. Most people would rather purchase these products in stores because it’s easier to read the fine lines, smell the products and compare prices. I get that, but, I’ve purchased cleaning supplies online before and was was very disappointed (not from CSN) so for me, if they don’t send me good cleaners, chances are their other stuff will be the same. I have always had it in my mind that if a company can send me great cleaning products, their other products have got to be amazing…like a test. My own personal test when online shopping. CSN passed my cleaning product test with an A+++.

Well, there you have it. My fun and interesting online experience with CSN. I had a blast shopping and have definitely enjoyed every product received. Oh, and at CSN; when you shop you earn cash back…my balance is no thirty four cents. I could use it towards any future order or save it and use it when I have enough money to buy something cute. I think I’ll do the latter.
