Hi everyone! Hope your Saturday is going swell!
I got a phone call two nights ago. It came from my mother. She had just informed me that she had just been informed that my younger sister (mother of five rambunctious kids) was now pregnant with her sixth- HOLY COW!! The funny thing is that we had just come home from being there a week and a half. My sister said she had been giving us hints, but we (mother and I) never caught on.
The bad thing was telling my girls the news because for the last day and a half they’ve continued to ask me when the baby’s coming. I’ve told them a hundred times since then that we still have at least 7 to 8 months (depending on how far along she is).
You know, I have to say…I admire my baby sister. She has five kids, a great husband (a cool brother-in-law) and a beautiful home. One of her kids (Carrolton) is a gifted child (diagnosed with Autism) and yet she still manages to keep the house in order as well as structured for all of them. Oh, and she also has a part time job at a kids clothing store; mainly to shop for the kids and continues to keep her daughter in American Miss Pageants. PS- she’s always looking for sponsors…
I think she’s doing a great job and hey, if she can raise six kids, take care of the family and home then more power to her! She’s a strong person and I think she can do it all just fine. She’s done great so far…
So, my question to you is; Could you imagine raising six kids of your own (age 11 to 0)? I know I couldn’t. I have a hard enough time keeping up with my three.

I have one and sometimes it feels like I have six, so no I don’t think I could handle that many….but, anyway, I wish her the best and congratulations!
