Twist-N-Roll Tweezers Review

Visit Twist-N-Roll Tweezers OMG…can we say OUCH! LOL 8)

I’m just kidding about that. I actually didn’t feel too many “ouch” moments while using this. In fact, I’ve been using the Twist-N-Roll tweezers for a good two weeks now and have been amazed at how this little gadget works! What amazes me more is that there is little to no effort at all while use it. You just need a little hand coordination.

Now because this is somewhat of an unusual looking product; I’m going to get right to the review. I’m sure that many of you have a few questions for me about whether it hurts or not, where it can be used, how it works, and what I think about it; along with maybe a gazillion other questions. Trust me, at first look, I had a few questions myself. I was even a bit skeptical about whether or not I’d really like it. That is; until the moment the coil rolled against my skin. That’s when I realized how much I really do like these tweezers and am happy to be writing this review.

So let me begin!

Twist-N-Roll Tweezers (close up)

About the Product:

The Twist-N-Roll Tweezers (above) come from Lindo Hair Accessories. This hair threading tool is made up of one simple, yet very sturdy coil in between two colored tips; which by the way I just need to mention- at first glance…this is funny…the tweezers resemble the looks of one huge cotton swab…(my opinion).

Anyways. The tips come in either pink or purple. I received a pink pair. The come packaged in a clear plastic box so that you see first hand what you’re getting. The cost for these tweezers are $17.99 but are on sale for $14.99 online. There’s even a promotion where if you buy 2 Twist-n-Roll tweezers you’ll get 1 pack of Swirlido hair ties (another product made by Lindo Hair Accessories). If you buy 3 tweezers you’ll get 1 tube of Lindo Hair inhibiting moisturizer—free and theirs no additional shipping charges. If you’re not much of an ‘online shopper’ you can easily order by mail using their address and a check payable to Grace Harvest & Assoc. (you can read the details on this by going to www.facialwork.com)

Recommendations: (found at Facial work)

To remove thick facial hair on upper lip, putting a hot towel for two minutes before hair removal can help reduce the sensitivity. After hair removal, apply Lindo Hair Inhibitor for soothing and hair inhibiting. Some people may experience sensitivity at the beginning; however, with regular use, the skin will become accustomed to it.

My thoughts:

As I said earlier, at first glance I thought I was looking at a huge cotton swab (LOL). I was also a little scared about what to expect (pain wise). Maybe it was the wire coil staring back at me- who knows(?). But, after using it a few times I’ve noticed that it doesn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. Actually, it’s no different then pulling one hair out at a time using the usual tools for the job.

PROS:The thing I like most, aside from how cool they look, is that with the Twist-N-Roll, you’re actually covering more area in a shorter period of time. It’s easy to use and doesn’t leave you red or soar (very important). In the last two weeks; I haven’t even broken out once (after using it).

CONS: If you don’t have very good hand coordination (twisting out while rolling up- at the same time); you might find these tweezers to be a little difficult to use. Especially if you’re trying to do your legs or bikini line. I let my girls do my legs. They thought it was funny to hear me say ouch every couple of seconds. But, I did that more for their entertainment. It really didn’t hurt that much but it made for a few good laughs for the little ones.

As for the price, it’s definitely not my favorite part. I think it’s a little steep but in the same token; I understand. It does cost money to package these products.

Overall: I give this product a thumbs up. I really do like the tweezers and even though I said that I didn’t care for the price, I’d still purchase them.

I know that I’m not going to loose them as easily as the others. They’re big ya know. Also. I know that with the proper cleaning, they’re going to last for a very long time. Speaking of cleaning; they are easily cleaned by using a dry towel (paper or cotton). To sterilize it you just spray a little sanitizer on the towel and wipe with that.

Disclosure: I was sent this product from Lindo Hair Accessories, through It’s a Glam Thing, for the purpose of my review. The opinions expressed in this post are my own. I was not given any monetary compensation nor did receiving this product influence my thoughts. Thank you.
