Barista Bath and Body Product Review

Barista Bath and Body Travel Kit I knew there was a reason why reviewing products was the job for me. I always get asked to try new things and share my thoughts about them with others. Sometimes I get lucky enough to try something that isn’t usually found at a super market or a local specialty store. These are the products that I find most interesting. Especially when it involves coffee!

Seriously. Coffee is the most wonderful thing in the world. I love coffee scented candles and lotions. I love visiting book stores, for the coffee and love sitting at coffee shops and drinking a nice cold one…with whip cream and caramel- YUM!!!! But, I never knew of coffee shampoo, conditioners and the likes. I simply had no idea there could be so much heaven in the world; somebody upstairs must really love me (LOL!)!!!

I recently tried Barista’s Bath and Body products and I just have to say that…well, it’s a wonder I never knew about them before.

Barista Bath and Body is:

Barista Bath and Body The first full natural beauty line to leverage the revitalizing benefits of coffee by making organic coffee a primary ingredient in its flagship products. Coffee’s unique contributions to beauty products include aiding in removing impurities from hair and offering a natural pH to soothe and protect the skin. All Barista Bath and body products are paraben-free, sulfate-free and phthalate-free. The products offer the perfect indulgence for beauty addicts and coffee fanatics (like me) alike, and will appeal equally to both women and men. The line includes shampoo, conditioner, gel, body scrub, body crème, soap, mist and lip balm; all are available at www.baristabathandbody.com

Individual products range in price from $4.50 to $28.00 and $22.50 to $150.00 for gift sets. Feel free to explore the collections here.

I was sent the b3 travel kit which included 2oz size bottles of perk it up (shampoo), soothe those jitters (conditioner), triple shot3 (body wash) and room for cream (lotion). The bottles came in a very neat and natural burlap envelope (with a little brown bow for accent).

My Thoughts:

Quick Note: Presentation is everything and I give Barista an A+ for this. The burlap envelope was beautiful and made for a fun time opening it.

PROS: It was easy to fall in love with these products. The shampoo has an amazing and strong coffee aroma. The conditioner makes your hair feel so soft (you don’t need much to feel the effects). The body wash was- wow!!! By the time I got out of the shower, my entire bathroom smelt like a coffee shop (and a good one at that).

CONS: The travel bottles could have been a little bigger (for the price). The coffee smells quickly faded. Though still leaving your hair smelling clean and feeling soft; I would have liked to have the smell of coffee in my hair a little longer.

Over all thoughts: I was only given travel size bottles so I wasn’t able to use it for more than a few days, but what I did try, I liked- a lot. I think the travel size set would make for a great gift and would definitely be enjoyed by the receiver. All and all- I liked the products and would more than likely shop there in the future.

Disclosure: I was sent product samples, from Barista Bath and Body- through Vibrance PR, for the purpose of my candid review. I was not sent any monetary compensation for my time nor did receiving product influence my experience. Thank you.

Leave it to Barb to find coffee scented hair products ;) These really do sound wonderful; I despise the taste of coffee but LOVE the smell of it!

LOL!!!! Yeah, I do get lucky enough to fall into coffee scented products.

You are just like hub. He has never enjoyed drinking in. In fact, he hates it…but he sure does love the way it smells and tells me when I have a good pot brewed. LOL

I definitely loved using these. I just wish they would have sent me full sized ‘samples’ instead of the tiny two ounce bottles. Not trying to be selfish, but coffee sure does make me that way!!!
