Big Day Ahead

It’s 10:30pm on a Sunday and I’m all done…I mean completely done with my house work. I’ve finished shopping for those last minute school supplies and was even able to get the kids fed and in bed before nine. They are actually (surprisingly) fast asleep. I’m still in shock because I really thought they’d have a very hard time falling to sleep because they have been so antsy about returning to school tomorrow. I’m guessing that since we had a very, very busy week, and weekend, they are pretty well pooped.

Lucky for me; the house it in perfect order now. Which, by the way, makes for a very productive day (for me) in the days to come. It took me a few days to get to this point…but it’s beautiful.

I’ve got a Scentsy candle going in every room, the floors have been swept, mopped and shined. The laundry is just about caught up and it just feels great to look around the house and see it sparkle. It was important that I accomplished this today because I am so ready to get back into the rhythm of working, in peace and quite – five days a week, and spending my weekends (free of work) with the kids.

Tomorrow starts a new day for everyone and I’m so excited…but, I must head to bed first so that I can be more productive tomorrow…well, for those reading this letter on 8/23…today.

Have a great evening everyone! I think it’s time for me to say good night…

I hope they had fun! My daughter started on the 13th–she has already had to miss (today!) because she’s sick. Make your girls take a bath to get off all the little kid germs when they come home today!!! lol

Did you jinks me Renee? LOL
Piper was home from school yesterday because of allergies. They were so bad that her throat was swollen and she couldn’t (as she said) swollow her own spit. At three in the morning we were up giving her a caugh drop, medicine and water. She went to school this morning, but no one got any sleep the night before.

I hope your baby girl gets better soon. I heard from my kids that there were a lot of kids on the first day of school throwing up, sneezing, caughing and everything else. It kills me when parents send their kids to school that way. I mean, if it were them feeling like crap, they’d stay home (I’m sure of it).
