Disney Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Review

The girls have not stopped talking about this movie ever since we got it in the mail. They were so happy about receiving the movie before Friday of last week that in preparation of it’s arrival, they sat together and discussed their weekend plans. Their plans; to watch Tinker Bell!

So, with popcorn in hand and DVDs in queue- they set out to watch every one of the Tinker Bell movies ever made. Well, most of them. They didn’t watch Peter Pan or Peter Pan Return to Never Land.

Disney featured Tinker Bell; the lost treasure over the weekend (the one DVD they don’t own) so in between watching their DVD of Tinker Bell (the first movie) and The Great Fairy Rescue (the one they just received), they watched the lost treasure on TV. Lucky for me, because not having the second DVD would have definitely caused an uproar! LOL). Not to worry; the whole plan to watch all three movies in a day worked out perfectly.

They love everything about The Great Fairy Rescue. It’s been watched about 4 times since Saturday.

Now, before a movie starts, the girls always pick a character, usually their favorite, and watch the movie with the imagination that they are that very character. Of course I’m always asked to participate so this time I chose Cheese. If you’re unaware, Cheese is the cute little mouse that helps Tink and her tinker fairies work. He’s too cute! Patience is always Silvermist and Piper- Fawn.

    Overall Thoughts:

The girls and I could not have been any more excited about watching this movie. In the end, we were not disappointed. This movie was by far an amazingly comical, adventurous and entertaining film. I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to enjoy it with my daughters. I love Tink and all her fairy friends…especially CHEESE- I love that little guy!!!!
