I know glasses serve their purpose and I’m really happy they exist (because they do look really great on some people)…but if you ask me—glasses have nothing on contacts!!!
Here’s why:
- Contacts don’t fog up when you open a heated dish washer
- Contacts don’t fog up when you come in from the cold, or vise versa
- Contacts can be helpful if you’re on the swim or track team
- Contacts don’t slip down your nose or bug the back of your ears
- Contacts don’t leave ridges on your nose
- Contacts don’t make you look dorky (or ugly)
- and so much more!
- But in a nutshell—the benefits of wearing contacts will always outweigh the benefits of wearing glasses
CJ totally agrees with my reasons too, especially since he started wearing Bausch + Lomb daily disposable contact lenses.
For CJ The transition from not being able to see anything (because he wouldn’t wear his glasses or even fess up to needing them) to seeing Chrystal clear with his new contact lenses has made all the difference in the world. It’s definitely boosted his self-esteem, made him a lot happier and has made him all the more confident.
As for the contacts…hands down—they’re great!!! I’m actually quite jealous.
I’ve been a Bausch + Lomb user for years, but mine are the monthly disposables and not the dailies. I like the ones I use but once they start hitting the four week mark, like clock work, they begin irritating and drying my eyes out before the day is over. It’s a little annoying. But I didn’t know if I wanted to spend the extra money on daily disposables.
Now that CJ uses daily disposables and raves about how easy they are to take care of…and how he never has problems with his eyes drying out (like mine). I think it’s time for me to reconsider my options.
All and all—the contacts are great, highly recommended. The “Daily Talks” report is definitely worth the time to read. And because of this campaign…the ‘daily talks’ at home have become something of the norm at dinner time.
Q: I don’t know how young or old a person should be when they start wearing contacts, but I think the daily disposables will definitely help lower the age requirements for those who need them. What age would you consider a good age to start your kids with contact lenses?
