When the book, Llama Llama Home with Mama, arrived at our doorstep, the girls instantly filled the room with giggles and laughter. The girls already knew of Anna Dewdney (Author of Llama Llama) and had already read her previous Llama Llama books (there are currently 7 books total). So needless to say—they were pretty excited about this one.

Ah-choo! Uh-oh, Llama Llama wakes up feeling under the weather. His head is feeling hot and his throat is sore. No school for little Llama today. What is there to do all day? Being sick is such a bore. But when Mama begins to feel sick, Llama knows just what to do. He gets her tissues, fluffs her pillow, and finds a book to read together. Spending time with each other may be just the thing to help Llama and Mama feel better!

Our Thoughts:
Since receiving this book, it has been placed into each of the girls’ back packs (without my knowing) and taken to school. It’s been read a gazillion times—each time with the same laughs as before (as if they were reading it for the first time). And they’ve pretty much memorized all the pictures and pages. They absolutely love this book and told me to tell you that it is highly recommended!!! And my girls don’t lie (when it comes to books anyways).
WIN IT!
Penguin would love to send one (1) lucky blogfully reader the new Llama Llama Home with Mama book and the cutest stuffed Llama Llama imaginable (at least for me it is).
Prize value: $35.99 (and the smiles you’ll get from your child—priceless)
