Giveaway: #Xia-Xia Hermit Crab and Shell

by barb on October 28, 2011

Okay…these have got to be some of the cutest toys for girls this season. They’re a joy to look at, so much fun to play with, and a blast to collect. The girls and I have really enjoyed ourselves with the Xia-Xia (pronounced shah-shah) and are so happy to have had the chance to check them out!

I’m sure by now; most of you have seen the commercials for these adorable Xia-Xia characters…if not, you’re in for a real treat.

Xia-Xia are crazy-adorable crustaceans who love (and live) to dance and play. They come with their very own wacky shell, but you can buy others to help glamourize and add to their shell collection.

I’m telling you—the Xia-Xia crew are too-too-TOO cute!!!

About the Xia-Xia™:

From a far away land where the Carnivale runs all day, Xia-Xia are crazy crustaceans, who love to dance and play. Costumed in wild and wacky shell fashions, Xia-Xia love to change their shells for their festivities. Press their claw and the parade begins!

The Collection:

4 Xia-Xia:

  • Bimini with her pink polka-dot and striped shell, Bimini loves to strut her stuff in different shell fashions
  • Trinidad with his dazzling, bright orange and yellow swirled shell, Trinidad loves to dance. Press his claw and watch him skitter scatter in a fun parade
  • Turks: Sweet and bubbly, Turks has a red shell and pretty pink bows, making her a cute companion
  • Tobago with his rough-and-tumble blue exterior and happy grin, Tobago is always dancing to the Xia-Xia samba

4 Xia-Xia Shells:

  • Xia-Xia hermit crabs already come with their own shell and special little friend, but they love to show off their shells for their island festivities. There are a variety of different shells with different patterns, styles, and above all, colors. For an added surprise, each additional shell contains two new little friends. Xia-Xia’s little friends are adorable miniature creatures that can ride on top of Xia-Xia, and they’re super fun to collect and trade.

3 Xia-Xia Playsets:

  • Rio de Trio Village: with fun, colorful décor and a bonus of three rooms, Xia-Xia can skitter scatter back and forth through the set.
  • Copacabana Playset: A perfect place for Xia-Xia to scurry and slide. This playset even connects with the Confetti Cottage so kids can build their own Xia-Xia world!
  • Confetti Cottage: An adorable home for Xia-Xia, the Confetti Cottage even doubles as a carrier so kids can take Xia-Xia on the go, and it connects with the Copacabana Playset!

Xia-Xia are now available @ Toys “R” Us and Wal-Mart
