I had the most fun making these awesome to-die-for no-bake snack bar recipe. Cheerios sent it over this afternoon and since I had most of the ingredients I decided to give it a try. And they were fantastic (if I do say so myself). They have just the right balance of sweetness, crunchiness and stickiness. These are definitely worth trying…even if you have to substitute a few minor ingredients (like nuts and dried fruits).
One thing. I know now that had I had light brown sugar, instead of dark, the look of these bars would have probably been a lot more similar to the ones Cheerios sent my way. Either way, they were still delicious and I’m very proud of them. Take a look:

They were amazing…that’s all I can say. I’m just sorry I don’t have a very good camera, otherwise I think you’d like how mine turned out too.
The new Dulce De Leche Cheerios from BigG are awesome. They’re sweet, but not sweet (did that make any sense?). They’re light and crunchy. They’re even great to have for dinner (LOL). And they’re absolutely perfect for making no-bake snack bars like the ones we tried. If you haven’t given them a try yet, I hope you will now. I think you’ll love them too.
