He Must Really Love Her

by barb on May 31, 2012

Tippy is everyone’s favorite bunny. It’s not that we don’t love the other one, it’s just that Tippy loves to cuddle. She lets you kiss and squeeze her tight. She basically acts like a rag doll…Licorice does not.

Licorice is not a solid “people-friendly” bunny. She’ll let you hold her for a little while but when she’s had enough, that’s it. All you can do is open your arms and let her go. And Bella (our third) is with us no more. Turns out Bella was a boy and we didn’t want any surprises in the near future. But don’t worry…he’s with a good family.

Anyway. John must really love Tippy. He woke up this morning and went straight for her – talking about how he’d dreamt about her all night long. Asking her why she invaded his sleep like that.

Bunny Love

In this dream: someone left the front door opened and Tippy managed to get out. John flipped out and started looking for her. He found her in a yard across the street and ran after her. Before he could touch her she ran off and ended up back on our side of the street – in another yard. This chasing went on and on and on (it seemed like the entire night) until he finally caught her and put her in prison (her cage). That’s when he woke up.

It’s funny how our brains work when we’re sleeping. I just wish I knew what the dream meant. I know it’s not some major dream with a deep story (or meaning) behind it, however. It would be nice to know why he dreamt of her.

Never the less, It was really cute to learn that John was dreaming about our sweet Tippy all night long. I’m just glad to know it was Tippy he was dreaming about and not some Playboy Bunny - LOL. I don’t think I’d be very happy about that one. I probably wouldn’t be writing about it - that’s for sure. :)

What dreams have you had lately? Any good ones?

My favorite breed of dog is a basset hound, we have always had one in the family. Our last basset, PattyCake passed away last year at the age of 15.

I had a dream the other night I went a got a basset, it was dressed in a tutu for some reason and it’s name was Pam…hahahaha

I figured my dream is because I miss my PattyCake

Thanks for sharing that story with us Pam. It’s a cute dream…and I’m sure it is because you’re missing your baby. We’ve only had Tippy for a little over a month and I know I’d be heart broken if anything happened to the little runt.
