The Essentials Of Fabulous (Book Review)

by barb on May 24, 2012

I’ve been reading a lot of books lately; sad ones, thrilling ones, helpful ones and ones that are almost “taboo-ish.” I love it. If you ask me, I don’t think you can ever have “too many” books. Reading keeps your mind active and your dreams – adventurous!

Books on my table

I just got through reading The Essentials of Fabulous last night and after more than a dozen smiles, hmmmm‘s and AHA moments, I can recommend this book to you with the highest of confidence that you’ll love it too.

I found joy in reading this book. It didn’t matter what page I opened it up to; I was going to find something I’d enjoy reading, learning about, or laughing at. I love books like that.

The whole book was great by my favorite parts to read would have to be 1) the section on Frenemies and how to spot them, 2) the 11 Commandments of manners, because who doesn’t want to have better manners?, and 3) how to write a love note to yourself. But really, I found the entire book to be intriguing.

The Essentials Of Fabulous will be the one book I have a hard time passing on to a friend (it was that good; I’m afraid I won’t get it back). In my opinion- this book was a FABULOUS read!!!
