Cygnett iPad and iPhone Cases [Product Review]

Not too long ago (while in San Antonio) I got a call from Mr Man saying that a package with a few Cygnett iPad and iPhone cases arrived. About a week later, when I finally saw them myself, I was thrilled to see that they were even nicer than what Mr Man had described them to be.

The Cygnett Alumni iPad case is awesome! I love how nice it looks covering my iPad, how crisp and clean it is; not one stitch was out of place, and the way my iPad stays securely in the sleeve…I love it!

Oh, and the color – it’s perfect. Of all the colors they could have sent me, they chose this one and with all honesty, it’s the one I would have picked myself.

Now this doesn’t happen with mine, but with the new iPads – the cover (when opening and closing) automatically activates the sleep/wake function.

The concealed magnet is really neat. You can hardly tell it has one in place. It doesn’t snap shut like other magnets would, but when you close it you can definitely feel a light pull that makes the case hold together. .

I don’t have an iPhone 4 or 4S (just a 3G) but I can tell you this – if I ever do get an iPhone 4 or 4S I’m definitely sporting one of these cases on my phone. I mean, seriously…look at them. The hardest part, for me, will be choosing which one I use first.

What can I say? They’re both my favorites.

Designed and authored by Nathon Jurevicius, the ICON Art Series Case (left) is soft (almost satiny) to the touch and disguises its very sturdy hard shell underneath. The character on my case comes from a character in Scarygirl (www.scarygirl.com) – Chihoohoo [There are three cases to choose from and each is just as awesome as the next].

The Apollo Hybrid Case (right) is super nice. It has a shock absorbent interior, it gives complete 360-degree protection, and each is impact-resistant with raised side edges to better protect the touchscreen. It even feels like a tough-to-damage case. [This case comes with three color options - White, Black or Purple].

Whether it’s an iPad, iPhone, iPod, Smartphone, Laptop, tablet case or digital accessory you’re looking for, chances are you’ll find what you’re looking for at Cygnett.
