If you were to ask what my favorite makeup piece was – In a second -I’d say eye shadow, and I’ll tell you why. I think eye shadows allow you to really accentuate – and can even make or break – your whole look. And personally, since my eyes are like the only feature I like on my face, it’s what I put all my attention to.

That said, I was sent a sweet package from Overall Beauty that included 4 eye shadow shades (one that my husband helped name), an eye shadow brush and a nice clear bag to keep them together.

Everything arrived so neatly and securely in it’s own bag (there were 2 of them by the way). I received one for me and one for one of you…

And when I took them to another room (with better lighting) to get a closer look…

I saw such beautiful eye shadows looking back at me. These four were colors I hadn’t used before and I was really excited about trying them.

I have no close-up pictures of my eyes (mainly because I’m not very good at taking pictures with my eyes closed); I was never able to get any true focus on my lids. But trust me, I have received many compliments when wearing this set of colors (from morning to night). And this happens because these colors stay fresh looking all day. I truly love the eye shadows from Overall Beauty and this is no joke!
