I remember how excited the girls were when they learned that Radio Rebel was coming to DVD. They saw the movie when it premiered on the Disney channel some time back; they’ve been waiting for news of a DVD release ever since.
The girls and I love Radio Rebel…about as much as we loved 16 wishes (also starring Debby Ryan).
Radio Rebel (if you hadn’t seen it yet) is about a girl who’s super shy in front of everyone – even friends, but secretly she’s the voice for all kids. She’s a rebel / the wild child. She’s the one who questions authority…and above all – She ROCKS!
In a nutshell: The movie was great! A must watch if you ask me. I love the bloopers – too funny [it's like 10 minutes of continuous blunders]. The Beat (music video) – super fun…and personally, I think she sings it as good (if not better) than the Go-Gos. Prom To MORP – super cool. I loved hearing how the cast talked about proms back in their old schools.

Synopsis: Tara Adams (Debby Ryan, Disney Channel’s Jessie) is just an ordinary high school junior…except for one thing. Tara’s got a secret – a secret identity. She’s Radio Rebel, the most popular radio DJ in Seattle. In person, Tara is as shy as they come, but on-air Radio Rebel is the smoothest talker around – she gives voice to all kids, popular and unpopular alike, and she questions the status quo. At Radio Rebel’s popularity grows, so does the pressure to reveal her true identity. Now, Tara must choose between keeping her on-air identity a secret, or owning her voice and risk losing everything.
