Raise A Cone To Summer with Nestle’s Drumstick

I’m not sure how the weather is in your area but around here it’s smoldering. And when it’s this hot there’s only one thing to do…

EAT ICE CREAM!!!

Nestle Drumsticks

Nestle Drumstick causes Brain Freeze

We laughed so hard after that last picture…Patience was trying to eat her drumstick super fast and ended up getting a brain freeze (LOL). We laughed even harder when we noticed she was wearing a sweater – as hot as it is outside!

Anyway…

We received coupons last week so that we could try all the new variety options Nestle has for their drumstick ice cream cones. We even had enough to share with my son and his room mates.

The favorite among all of them, for me, was definitely the cookie dipped -vanilla caramel – drumsticks…OMG!!!! Those things are amazing. John, CJ, and all of his friends loved the classic – scoop of vanilla and coated with chocolate and roasted peanut goodness. And the girls (need we ask?)? They love them all. They have no preference. Just give them an ice cream cone and they’ll love you forever. :)

If you haven’t tried the new drumsticks yet be sure to do so soon. And don’t forget to “Raise A Cone To Summer” Summer Sweep while you’re at it!

Fun Facts:

o In 1928, the Parker brothers zipped up the cone concept with a chocolate coating and nuts. One of their wives thought it looked like a fried chicken leg, so they called it a Drumstick.

o Today, NESTLÉ® DRUMSTICK® cones are topped with peanuts, sprinkles, chocolate cookies and even pretzels bits.

o The crispy sugar cone has a chocolaty lining and a yummy chocolaty nugget in the bottom-and for a lot of people, that last bite is the best.

Final Thought?

What else can I say? Nestle Drumstick variety packs are pure awesomeness! They make a hot summer day just a little bit sweeter!

Look for Nestle’s Drumstick cones next time your at the grocery store. They can be found in the frozen section – where other ice creams are sold.

Disclosure: Free Product Coupons were provided to me by Family Fun Magazine and Nestles. All thoughts are my own and based on my (and my family’s) experience.
