So I told you the other day – both Patience and Piper are staying with my family for the next two weeks. This gives me plenty of time to catch up on my house work and my writing…if I can keep away from Skyping with Patience day and night (LOL).
Before we left for San Antonio two weeks ago I set up a Skype account on Patience’s computer. I did it so that Patience (and the rest of us) could talk to CJ any time – through his Skype. Little did I know I’d be Skyping with Patience and Piper while they were at Grandma’s.

And this is just the beginning because Patience – after tonight’s chat – says she’s setting her grandma’s (and Aunt Lisa’s and cousin Garrett’s) computer with Skype too, so that we can all Skype together before they come back home.
Having a Skype account on each of our computer’s has made life so much easier…especially since this is the very first time my girls have been (and will be) away from me for more than a few days. It’s already great being able to Skype with CJ whenever I want, but to be able to Skype with the girls while they’re away has been especially sweet because, for them, I’m just one click away, and for me, because I can see my sweet baby girls and feel comfortable knowing that they’re doing great, and I can see that they’re shaving so much fun.
We’re all loving it and can’t wait until we Skype again (tomorrow).
Video Calling:
Why just talk when you can see each other face-to-face? Video call your family in Australia, your friends in Spain or your colleagues in Japan, for free. It’s the next best thing to being there.
Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Skype. I received Skype credits to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating
