Today, yesterday and Saturday have been, without a doubt, the most chaotic days of the summer. And the day’s not over yet.
On Saturday, my very long time friend C and I went yard sale hunting…and it was sooooo muuuuch fuuuunnnnn!!!!!!
And aside from a few clothing items, check out my best finds (bar-stools and baskets come from Pier 1 Exports…best $20 I ever spent)
We even went to lunch afterwards, and to Bed Bath and Beyond (since I’ve never been there before). All without kids or husbands. It was a nice break for everyone.
Yesterday started out yucky, but then C called and asked if I wanted to go to Kohls with her. It was another great escape…and I did end up spending a few bucks on sale items too. And just when I thought last night was over, Zach came home (late). Packed and moved out. I thought I’d get to rest after that but the girls had other plans for me. I was up until 2:30 this morning – with the girls – cleaning and rearranging rooms.
And today – you guessed it – I woke up to two very eager beavers, ready to work and “decorate” and “rearrange” their rooms. I’m also purging, putting things aside for goodwill and…and…and…you get the picture.
So, that said. Sorry I wasn’t here this weekend. I’m also sorry that I don’t have much else to share with you today. But. Tomorrow will be different.
I’m looking forward to the hour (or minute) where the last sheet is folded and everything is in its place. That’s what I’m looking forward to.
