Heelys Debuts a New Line Of Shoes and We’re Lovin’ Them

by barb on July 25, 2012

My girls have been in love with – and have raved about – Heelys since they were first introduced to the shoes a few years back, however. The girls aren’t the only ones in our house who rave over Heelys. I’m a big fan too.

I won’t dare use the wheels with my Heelys (ever) because I’m afraid I’ll fall and break my back…or my butt, but I do love sporting a pair when I’m out and about doing everyday things. They’re quite the eye catcher…and look great with a nice pair of jeans (or shorts).

My New Heelys

There are Three New Lines from Heelys:

~ Lifestyle = designed especially for girls/women, these shoes include more fashion forward colors and styles.

~ New Featured Athletic Line = that are much lighter than traditional Heelys and are ideal for kids who play sports and have a more active lifestyle.

~ And the new line of Street Shoes = made to look and perform more like street shoes than any previous Heelys shoe before – and have lower profile “skate outsoles” for better skating.

MY FAVORITES:

So far, after taking a look at the Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer Look Books, I’d have to say that my absolute favorite new styles from Heelys are the Mary Janes (called “socialites”), with straps and buckles and pretty little flowers (perfect for school) and some cute looking sneakers called Harmony’s. Take a look, do you agree?

In my opinion, Heelys are proving to be one of the most desired brand of shoes in my home! The girls are super excited about the new styles and colors and I’m pretty excited about getting a few new pair for them for this school year.

Be sure to check out and follow Heelys on Facebook, Twitter and their YouTube channel that way you’ll stay up-to-date with all their latest styles, promotions, videos and offerings.

Oh, oh, oh…and – because I know this happens – if you’ve lost the wheels to your Heelys, don’t fret, they have some of the coolest wheels for Heelys imaginable. Just visit the official Heelys website to see.

Disclosure: I was provided with a pair of Heelys for my review. This post was not paid for nor did receiving product influence any “positive” feedback. All thoughts are my own. Thanks for reading.
