I told myself – the day the girls left for Church Camp – to take advantage of the empty nest and clean the heck out of every room in the house (i.e. Purge like I’ve never purged before).

Well guess what? They come home tomorrow and I haven’t lifted a finger to do anything more than a few loads of laundry. I’m so mad at myself. But…at least I’ve still got today, right?

That said, I’m going to grab my best cleaning products, open some windows to let some fresh air flow through the house, turn on my favorite music station on the radio (Classic Rock) and kick some dust bunnies butts!

And then tonight, when all is clean, I’m going to open up a few pages of my latest book and then make a much needed long-lasting visit with Mr sandman.
