Back-To-School with Wet Ones

by barb on August 15, 2012

The start of school is mere days away and instead of being excited for my girls, I’m worried because every time they do go back to school our doctor bills fly through the roof. And before you know it we’re back in the whole again.

Patience and Piper are the type of kids that get sick if anyone even sneezes in their direction. I kid you not – they get sick just like that. It’s been this way since I can remember. I guess that’s why I’m so pushy about using sanitizers after everything they touch. If anything else, it’s a very good habit to be in.

I received a 24 count box of individually wrapped single wipes from Wet Ones recently. I’d never tried these before so I was pretty eager to see how they’d work. And do you know how I tested them for school readiness? I took them to the beach, where Piper was the bait keeper and Patience had to bait her own lines.

And in case you didn’t already know…Wet Ones are pretty awesome! They’re perfect in times where there’s no soap or clean water to wash with. They smell good and work great at keeping our hands feeling soft and clean long after we’ve thrown the used wipes away.

I definitely plan to continue using Wet One’s antibacterial hand wipes. I think they’re a great product and have proven to work well for us, plus, the girls really love the smell (and having their own “individually wrapped” wipes on hand.

About Wet Ones Antibacterial hand Wipes

Fact: Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes actually clean up grubby and sticky hands. So when soap and water aren’t handy, grab Wet Ones® Wipes to kill 99.99% of bacteria, wipe away grime, and get nice soft hands. Thanks to their Aloe formula, they won’t dry or irritate your skin like hand sanitizers can. And, they’re hypoallergenic. In Fresh Scent or Citrus, Wet Ones® hand wipes smell great too

Quick Fact: According to a WebMD article on preventing colds, scientists estimate that 80 percent of all infectious diseases are transmitted through hands, which is why it’s important to keep hands clean and germ-free.

There are three buying options with Wet Ones. There’s a 40 count canister (which is designed to fit into a standard car cup holder), a 15 count travel pack, and a 24 count box of individually wrapped single wipes (like the ones I received). But that’s not all because for even bigger messes Wet Ones now offer Wet Ones Big Ones wipes (in Fresh and Citrus Scent) that come in a 25 count re-sealable pouch and are 50% bigger than the regular Wet Ones wipes.

Wet Ones are available at most retail outlets and at select online stores (like Amazon, soap.com, Playtex online store and drugstore.com). Prices vary.
