I’ve just finished collecting double movie reward points on Disney’s DisneyMovieRewards.com website. It’s a special offer from 8/21 – 8/30 and is only good for the following titles:
But not only that – I now have a great collection of Disney Films that the whole family will enjoy, long after my points have been redeemed for something cool.
We had an awesome Disney Movie-A-Thon over the weekend – equipped with all of our favorite drinks and snacks – and it was a blast. I forgot just how fun it was to sit around all day watching movies with your kids.
Our first movie was Lady and the Tramp II. Both Patience and Piper watched part I at grandmas last summer but had yet to see part II. Needless to say they loved it and now consider it one of their favorite.
The next movie watched – The Aristocats…and we loved it! There are always so many great songs that come from a Disney movie classic, and Aristocats is no different…Everybody Wants To Be a Cat just makes the movie!!!
From there we watched Pocahantas (both I & II), The Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under (35th Anniversary collection), The Tigger movie – and then finally – Chimpanzee.
I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed each of these movies. The music, bonus features, enhanced movie pictures; it was all awesome.
I think my stomach is still mad at me for all the popcorn and pickles I ate, but the time I spent watching Disney Classics (and new Chimpanzee feature) with my girls was priceless. You can’t buy times like these, but Disney sure knows how to make them happen!

Oh yeah, and PS- Chimpanzee …definitely a movie worth every “ooooh,” “awe,” and “How Sweeeet” your lips will spit out. This film has its happy moments, its sad ones, and hosts an incredible list of bonus features – including behind-the-scenes footage showcasing the filmmaker’s amazing efforts to document the making of the film – that you can’t help but tune into. It’s a fantastic documentary worthy of all it’s praise – and the music is amazing! I do hope they come out with a soundtrack for this one.
If you haven’t seen it yet, grab your copy now.
And one more thing. Now through August 27th – Disneynature will make a donation through the Disney Worldwide conservation Fund to the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) to conserve chimpanzee habitat.
So which is your favorite?
Disclosure: I was provided with each of the titles above, for the purpose of this movie feature. This was not a paid post nor did receiving product influence my opinions.
